OUR MISSION

To prepare the disadvantaged children in our community for school by providing needed school supplies, building their self-esteem and improving their well-being.

Project Back to School is an all volunteer community program to provide pre-packed custom school supply kits and backpacks for disadvantaged children in Wichita Falls, Texas to begin school each year.

There are over 9,000 economically disadvantaged students in the Wichita Falls ISD.  Project Back to School is the only large-scale community program working in partnership with the WFISD to help these children.

Every August, Project Back to School provides
free school supply kits and backpacks for qualifying WFISD students, as well as valuable information on education and social services, immunizations, vision and dental screenings and dental exams for all children at our Project Back to School Roundup

Help us reach our goal to equip 6,000 Wichita Falls ISD students in August 2013 with a simple yet valuable resource - the school supplies they need to succeed in school.

In 2013, Project Back to School Burkburnett was established to help children in Burkburnett, Texas.  They are an independent nonprofit program working in collaboration with Project Back to School.  Each Project Back to School program works in partnership with their local school district and provides their own custom school supply kits.   Through our affiliation and combined purchasing power, we can each best serve the children in our respective communities.
